PRESS JUNKET FILMING & LIVE STREAMING
Hosted interviews, live broadcast-style coverage and discreet documentary filming as the day unfolds.
From controlled sit-down interviews to fast-moving press days, EPK Crew can work as a compact camera unit or scale to multi-camera, sound and streaming support.
THREE WAYS TO COVER A JUNKET
Choose the format that fits the day
Some press days need a formal interview setup. Others need to be captured almost invisibly. We can work either way.
LIVE STREAMED JUNKETS
Broadcast the interviews live to press, stakeholders, remote guests or an online audience.
- Multi-camera switching
- Dedicated programme feed
- Professional sound capture
- On-screen branding if required
- Local recording alongside the stream
HOSTED INTERVIEWS
Structured interviews with an anchor, presenter, journalist or supplied interviewer guiding the conversation.
- Single or multi-camera
- Presenter and guest coverage
- Lighting and location sound
- Clean eyelines and controlled framing
- Full interviews or edited extracts
AS-IT-HAPPENS COVERAGE
Documentary-style filming from the sidelines, following the rhythm of the day rather than stopping it for the camera.
- Discreet handheld coverage
- Gimbal movement where useful
- Arrivals, preparation and between-interview moments
- Press activity and atmosphere
- Natural BTS and observational footage
DISCREET CAMERA COVERAGE
Sometimes the best footage comes from staying out of the way
Not every junket needs to feel like a television studio. For documentary-style coverage, Mark can work quietly around the room with a compact camera setup, picking up the moments that happen between the formal interviews.
That might include contributors arriving, publicists organising the room, talent preparing, informal exchanges, photographers working, interview changeovers and the general pace of the day.
Handheld filming keeps the setup light and responsive. A gimbal can be used when smoother movement adds something to the sequence rather than simply because one is available.
USEFUL DOCUMENTARY MOMENTS
- Talent arrival and departure
- Room preparation and lighting
- Publicists and production staff at work
- Press waiting and moving between slots
- Informal cast interaction
- Photocalls and press-line activity
- Venue and environmental details
INTERVIEW SETUPS
From one chair and one camera to a full hosted setup
The camera package is built around the interview format rather than forcing every junket into the same layout.
SINGLE CAMERA
Simple contributor interview or press statement with professional sound and lighting.
TWO CAMERA
Main interview angle plus second angle for cleaner edits, reactions and cut points.
HOST + GUEST
Coverage designed around both interviewer and contributor, including singles and two-shots where useful.
MULTI-GUEST
Roundtables, panels or rotating press interviews with additional cameras and dedicated sound where needed.
LIVE STREAMING
Broadcast the junket beyond the room
When remote viewers need to watch live, the interview setup can be expanded into a compact streaming production.
That can include multiple cameras, switched programme output, professional audio, presentation or branding elements and local recordings for later use.
The exact streaming setup depends on the venue, internet connectivity, audience platform and whether remote contributors need to participate.
STREAMING CAN INCLUDE
- Two or more cameras
- Live vision mixing
- Presenter and guest microphones
- Holding slides / branding
- Remote contributors where appropriate
- Local backup recordings
- Post-event recording delivery
ONE CREW, DIFFERENT OUTPUTS
Use the footage live, later — or both
A junket day can produce more than one deliverable. The same coverage can support a live feed, full-length interviews, social edits, EPK sequences and documentary-style BTS material.
FULL INTERVIEWS
Clean, isolated interview recordings for press, archive or later editorial use.
PRESS & SOCIAL
Short extracts, vertical versions, captions and fast-turnaround clips for campaign use.
DOCUMENTARY BTS
Natural coverage of the day itself for EPKs, featurettes, campaign pieces and production archive.
SMALL FOOTPRINT
Built for busy press days
EPK Crew is led by Mark Jury and can scale from a single self-shooting operator to a small camera, sound and streaming crew.
For fast-moving junkets, the aim is simple: arrive prepared, work around the schedule, keep the setup proportionate and get the material without slowing the day down.
NDA, embargo and white-label working are available where required.
